Privacy Policy — iDareYou.in

                💕 Short version: We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number. Couple Spaces are identified only by a random username and a code you control. We collect minimal anonymous usage data to keep the site running.
            

1. Who We Are

iDareYou.in is a couples platform, free at its core with an optional Pro subscription, operated independently and based in India. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@idareyou.in.

2. What We Collect

We collect the absolute minimum needed to run the site:

Couple Space data: A randomly generated username and a 6-digit code. No name, no email, no phone number — ever.
Anonymous Q&A and Love Wall posts: The content you submit and the randomly generated name shown with it. No personal identifiers are stored alongside your post.
Basic server logs: IP address, browser type, and pages visited — standard logs kept by our hosting provider for security and performance. These are not shared or sold.
Cookies: Session cookies to keep your Couple Space login active. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Subscription records (Pro users only): If you subscribe to Couple Space Pro, we store your subscription status, plan type, and Razorpay transaction/order IDs so we can confirm your access and help with support requests. We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment processor, under their own security standards and privacy policy.

3. What We Never Collect

Your real name, email address, or phone number
Your location beyond what your IP address broadly indicates
Your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay processes these directly; we only ever see whether a payment succeeded
Your relationship details beyond what you voluntarily post

4. Advertising

iDareYou.in does not currently display third-party advertisements. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated first, with details of what's shown and how to opt out.

5. How We Use What We Collect

To display your Couple Space, challenges, and saved memories
To show anonymous Q&A posts and Love Wall stories to other users
To understand which features are most used so we can improve the site
To protect the site from spam and abuse

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes. Clicking an affiliate link (e.g. to Amazon) may pass a referral ID to that platform, governed by their own privacy policy. If you subscribe to Pro, your payment is processed directly by Razorpay — we share only what's needed to create and verify your order (amount and plan type), never your card or bank details, which Razorpay collects directly and we never receive.

7. Data Retention

Couple Space data is retained as long as the space exists. Anonymous Q&A posts and Love Wall stories remain until you request removal or they are removed by our moderation team. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You can request deletion of any content you submitted at any time by emailing hello@idareyou.in with the anonymous username it was posted under and a description of the content. We will action removal within 48 hours.

9. Children's Privacy

iDareYou.in is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the platform, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
